There have been countless debates among the internet gaming community for quite some time. Everyone has their opinions, of course, but the question always remains the same:
What is the best video game you've ever played?
People connect to electronic media for a number of different reasons. Everyone remembers the first time they played Super Mario, or the first time they put a quarter into an arcade machine. The experiences may vary, but I'm of the opinion that even if you could care less about the modern video game industry, you still have at least one title that resonates within...whether you're a diehard nerd or have only held a controller a few times in your life.

I think you make a good point about video games. I do think that you overestimate the influence of video games on peoples lives just a little though. There is a demographic, like myself, who for some reason or other are terrible at video games and thus have trouble playing them. I guess the game that probably had the most influence on the largest audience would be solitaire though. I mean how much corporate production has that brought down?
ReplyDeleteI would have to say that one of the best video games I've ever played is Grand Theft Auto.. haha! I used to play it all the time when I was younger and I was so fascinated with stealing the cop cars and destroying civilian life. For some reason, that game will always stand out to me. I also really like Super Smash Brothers.
ReplyDeleteI don't really play videogames much. My younger brother does though. We've played this car racing game before(not sure what it's called) and it was fun. I wasn't very good at it though. I kept crashing into everything.
ReplyDeleteI don't play video games that much, but when I was little I was addicted to Super Mario Brothers on the old Nintendo. Other than that, I haven't had much experience.
